My work as your MP is based on what I hear from the local community – part of my job is getting out and about and finding new ways to learn what issues matter to you. Time and again I’ve heard that our community wants to see big, bold and urgent action to address the climate crisis, which is why I’ve made this a focus for my work in Parliament.
Locals also care a lot about unsustainable and inappropriate development, better public transport and public infrastructure, and preserving the places we love on the west side. So I've worked hard over the last 3 years on these issues and I'm proud to say I have secured meaningful improvements for our community, including a new school for the inner west and stopping the private zipline proposed at Mt Coot-tha
Here are some of local issues I'm currently focusing on as your Greens MP for Maiwar. You can find the state-wide issues I'm working on and the Greens' plan for Queensland here.
