Neighbourhood Knock for an accessible Taringa Station

Right now, the State Government is considering whether to include Taringa Station in the next round of station accessibility upgrades. We need to keep up the pressure and show the Government that accessibility isn’t a “nice to have” - it’s an essential investment in our communities.

Our petition is so close to 2,000 signatures, but we need more people to hear about it to get there. So we’re gathering local volunteers on Saturday 10 February to doorknock our neighbours in Taringa, let people know about the campaign, and gather petition signatures.

If you’d like to help the campaign for upgrades, meet us at Taringa Playground Park and bring your hat and waterbottle. Afterwards, join us for a free picnic and a cool drink.

New to doorknocking? No worries! We’ll have training beforehand, and pair you up with an experienced knocker.
