Traffic on Lambert Rd is a nightmare! To fix it, we need to minimise the number of families who are forced to drive. 

In 2021, I conducted the Lambert Rd Traffic Survey to investigate options to deal with existing and future traffic congestion around Indooroopilly schools. Our survey showed that many parents would like their kids to cycle to school, but don’t feel it’s a safe option. They called for safe, separated bike lanes around the school precinct.

I recently launched a campaign to complete the Indooroopilly Bikeway. This would involve a separated bikeway linking the Indooroopilly Riverwalk with the St Lucia Esplanade Bikeway via Lambert Rd. You can find out more here.

On Thursday 3 November I'll be at the Cnr Carnarvon Rd and Lambert Rd from 8:00-9:00AM to speak to families about this proposal.
